Front speaker mounting ideas

So how do they sound?

Very good. Nice and clear highs. These compliment the 6x9 coaxial rear speakers very well. I'm running a 4-channel amp to these and added a powered sub woofer under the front passenger seat.

Possibly if they were moved up higher and rearward....???
I know you've already purchased your speakers but they (mfgs) also make a shallow mount speakers....I'm sure this has be done in various fashions sucesfully...
You can certainly talk to a reputable custom car stereo center, I'm sure they could give you more options...

These cars have very specifically located recesses and I have exactly mounted the speakers where they can go. There's no wiggle room. I'm happy with them as they are.
