I have the solution for you all --You can buy it cheap, doesn't take up much room, very little to maintain, mows your grass and weeds, fertilizer for your garden and produces good milk at no cost. That would be a GOAT. And...romance for lonely guys.............................MO .

You're correct.Libs hate cows of any type dairy of beef. They are cheap to feed right now, but nonprifitable? ? I would expect eggs to go up too if they pass the laws that require layer facilities to be cageless

Ive read over half a dozen articles about the rising cost of milk and not one has mentioned Obama as being the cause or liberals or any of the nonsense i read in this thread. So if your interested in learning what the problem is then spend five minutes and research the topic.

I also recall and i did follow it up that milk prices actually spiked in 2004 and were higher than now.

The link you've sent us requires a subscription. I'm not subscribing. I did try to read though. I also saw that the source came from Bloomberg. A very biased source. Not a believable one. Just do the math. Low cost of production, low raw milk prices. High consumer prices. Somewhere between when it leaves the dairy and when it arrives on shelves, the price skyrockets. That's just about when the government gets involved. What a coincidence.
Did you other fbbo members know it illegal, in my state anyway to sell milk straight off cow. Evidently it's a dangerous like machine guns or herion.
