"H" Drive Train VIN Difference - 69RR?

If the VIN indicates an H drivetrain on a 69 RR, is there a difference compared to a non H?

Are all 69 RR's H drivetrains?

Only other ones would be an M - 440-6, or a J- 426 Hemi. Vast majority of RR's are H- 383.
If it's a real RM23 or RM21 it will definitely be an H.
Personally I'm looking for a barn find RM27J9XXXXXXX for $3500

I have two of them but I can't get the dang cows out of the barn long enough to pull them out

OK, so I'll go $4000, but it has to be B5 with White top and interior, and a 4 spd.
Buckets or bench is acceptable.

A 69 RR can only code H, J or M indicating a 383, Hemi or 440-6bbl.

Most 69 RRs code H but not all.

I actually found one in 1990.

Yellow with tan int auto.

One of ten J code '69 RR convertibles.

Asking price was $750.

Buddy traded 77 power wagon club cab straight up and 2 weeks later sold it for 10K.

Sure wish I'd have been able to come up with that $750.
