How to get coolant out of firewall insulation?

What's the best way to clean and remove the coolant from the firewall insulation without removing it?

You might as well just bite the bullet and replace it. It works like a sponge and you will never get rid of the smell. It will give you a chance to cleanup under the dash. No easy way that will actually work. BTW how did it get coolant in it ?

Heater core went bad. It's just the bottom part of the insulation were the bottom of the box meets with the firewall.

Well, I pulled it out. It's a lot easier and other cars I've had.
