I wonder if he is planning a comeback here in NHRA ?

I was posting about a track reopening & just thought of it on a whim
he was racing in some big Drag Racing event down in Australia
with Bob Lagono & a couple of others

he went through a bout of cancer IIRC sidelined him
he was going to do a comeback a few years ago it fell thru

yes he is . He runs for Rapisarda TF team , has done a few trips down here . Always good to see him race . Its this friday saturday . Seem my post a couple down the page , has link for livestream free on nhra tv

He had a dragster with an expired NHRA cert sticker on it. The the dragster then got modified into a 2 seater and they left the cert sticker on it. It was on display at at an NHRA event and NHRA saw this and they threw **** fit and banned him from NHRA racing. I don't know of that was a lifetime or what.

didn't know about that one...

wow just a warning to get it recertified
they have tech right there & the **** to do it all
they have that power, to do both or either

I saw Larry was 'mainly a spectator'
they never got out of the pits, in his 3 opportunities to run the car
at the actual race event

He’s a fantastic human being. He was telling me he nearly ran into a kangaroo on the track in Australia and he added a beep beep roadrunner horn to his chevyII that he was excited about.
