I am going to post every pic I took.

This Coronet with the HellCat crate engine was exceptionally well put together:

This 74 GTO 455SD 4 speed Ram Air Ventura-based hatchback had 7,500 original miles, then had a nut and bolt restoration done using mostly NOS parts. Nothing else in 74 could approach the 1/4 mile performance or potential of this car, IMO. It sold for over $52k!

Thanks to all who posted pictures. What did the Black 70 'Cuda go for?

The GTO was run again Saturday, something with the engine wasn't right. Guess it wasn't a super duty or whatever it was supposed to be or if that was it's price for second run.

I wasn't there Saturday. It was dressed out as a 455SD, including the valve cover sticker, but the description in the windshield didn't specify it was a 455SD, and the only stock motors in 74 GTOs I have seen pix of were 350s. It did claim in the description that it was a 425HP/455 which wouldn't have been stock anyway.
I wonder what it sold for?

So after taking a rare "vacation" I am happy to say that I have a lot of work to do and I am a 1 man business. More pix when I have time. I really am glad that we went, and would especially recommend the Kissimmee auction if you can make it, and go for the whole week, at least Tuesday through Saturday at the auction, and if you have to pair that down, go Friday and Saturday. One last pic for now, our menagerie of animals in the back of the PT Cruiser. Tony, Bitty, Laney are the Lab mixes and Sue E Pig, which speaks for itself.

It was parked in prestage Saturday behind one of my cars, it was getting alot of attention and alot of talk. Didn't have time to watch it cross again. But a asked if it was the same and was told had engine issues with documentation. That's all I know. But I liked it and was a nice car. I like the 455 engines but it's a fun car.

Thanks. It sounded healthy.
I'm sorry I didn't reach out to anyone who gave me contact info, but I decided to make this event something that me and my wife could share and didn't want to complicate that. Sometimes something that seems simple to me (hanging out with car friends) gets complicated depending on how she takes my attention being shared....
