We're using the 6.4 Mopar Engine wiring kit for our '69 Charger Hemi swap (see the thread in this forum). But the kit doesn't provide an output for a Check Engine light, at least that I can find.

Anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks!

Does it have the obd2 port? If so, hook a scanner to that and your in business.

As far as I know, there isn’t a dedicated wire for that, but call Chris a hotwireauto.com and ask him.

There probably isn't a wire for a CEL most of the newer cars use a CAN bus network or similar and the ECM just sends out a data packet to the dash and tells its controller/computer to turn on/off the CEL. On the 2005 Durango I used for the hemi donor you cant even turn its radio on without the instrument cluster's module telling the radio the ignition key is in the run or acc position along with other data.
