As some of you may remember I had a cage built a while back and had to rip the whole thing out and start over. I decided the car was going to be way too fast for a cage and basically decided to have a chassis built. Most of you probably don't follow my thread in the gen3 swap section, so I figure I would post a few pics here. What do you guys think?

I think you need to spend more time over here on the racers hangout and get the recognition this build needs and deserves. That is freaking sweet.

YOU BELONG IN THE RACERS HANGOUT PAL....Sweet Build...keep us posted...wow

It is a street car. Drag week car basically but I will do some of the 5.0 Nostalgia Backhalf stuff, the mopars at the motorplex etc.

Here's some more pics for you guys. The motors a 4.170 bore by 3.90 stroke all aluminum gen3 426 hemi with Thitek heads. Twin precision 67/66 turbos. The motor makes 1500 ish around 20# of boost.

I'm still a little queezy about a 3rd gen where a 2nd gen belongs.But it's your vision,I'm driving mine.
Dig the 64,but those rear tires look kinda small.........

That was before the chassis. There's much more tire there now. It should run 5.0's on a drag radial, high 7's in the quarter and drive anywhere I wanna go. That my target anyway. I build and tune 3rd gen motors, It's my wheelhouse.

Looks good, I'll be interested to see what it weighs when done. What is it going to have for an interior? The 3rd gen is the way to go, quicker, lighter, cheaper.
Doug

I think it should be 3000 ish. The engine and accessories weighs around 460. I'm not sure about the cheaper piece. More reliable and less to maintain definitely. It's 25k in long block. Plus it's another 10k in turbo goodies, 6k worth of efi stuff, a couple grand worth of fuel system.....it never ends. I'm sure I could make more power for less in a wedge, but I'm equally sure it wouldn't last as long. This motor should make my power goals, rev under 6400, and like a long long time at under 20# of boost

Two aluminum seats, carbon fiber door panels, carpet, headliner, and not sure if I can get away with lexan side windows or not yet

Sounds & looks great...
