Car arrived about 8:30 tonight & by the time the driver & I finished up going over the car it was like 9. Took the family out for a nice ride & Big Red is tucked in for the night. Will have to wait to really see the car sometime in the week as it's going to pour all weekend long.

Overall the car is in great shape with some things needing repair here & there. From what I was able to see the paint job / body issues were not as bad as described.

Heading off to bed for a good nights sleep!

Sweet looking ride from what I can see... enjoy the ride when the rain subsides

Thanks guys. Well as it turned out my son had to be at school at 6am as they were going on a band field trip so was up at 5, so somewhat sleep deprived.

Car needs a really good interior cleaning and was wondering what you guys would recommend to really scrub/clean the vinyl seats with to remove some dirt & grime. I was thinking a mild soap & water detergent (Lysol/pinesol) and a scrubby sponge.

You can see more pic's & the video inspection that I had done here. http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/i-think-i-may-have-just-found-my-68-charger.129877/

Congrats on the Charger. I watched the other thread and think that you got a great car for what you were looking for and am really glad you feel the car is even better than described! That's great!

For cleaning I like the OER products from classic industries. I have had good results. If you want to go with something you have, I would use Pinesol over Lysol. I use it for home cleaning, but I dilute it with water. You might go with a 1/4 ratio that way it's more mild and I would test in a small spot first. I am sure the other guys on here have tips and suggestions as well and I'm interested in what everyone else uses.

They are black seats, how can you tell they are dirty?
Black doesn't ever need cleaning.
Plus you will ruin the old car smell.
I have black interior in my daily driver.

Thanks guys! What I'm looking to do is just get a good basic cleaning in so that I can then give it a nice top dressing. It's not horribly dirty just needs some dusting, window cleaning, the basic stuff.
