Hi all,
The ashtray cover on my 68 Charger was always hanging on by a thread since I bought the car. Just last week, it fell off completely and noticed a number of ball bearings on the floor. Assuming that is what allowed the cover to slide up and down the track of the ashtray. I included a picture of it before it fell off.
Does anyone have any experience with the procedure to reinstall the cover with the ball bearings so that it works properly again? Also, how many BBs are there on each side? I want to make sure I didn't lose any. Any pictures are helpful as visual instruction saves me a lot of time.
