my oil pan is rubbing on my steering linkage rod. I got one from summit but it looks to big.
I have a 440 in a 62 dodge dart 440. Anyone know where to get a oil pan that will fit or what to do to make this one fit besides pound a dent into it.

Never fooled with an A-body, but guessing measurements in the hole are a little dif vs a B-body. Might be worth a little checking, to see if the steering link is the same (doubt it), between a stock A-body, and one fitted for a Hemi (such as Hemi Dart). Guessing it could be a drop style steering link, if so, you might need to go that route.
Anyone you know, sporting a BB in one of the A-bodies, might give you a hint.

Here are some measurements and info

I have a 971 pan for an A body, but the 62' Dart is a B body. The 971 pan has a notch to clear the idler arm.
