Looking for pictures and advice on 215/70/15 on a 15x7 Police Wheel for a 66 Belvedere II. Seems like a good fit to me. Thoughts?

They fit just like it was meant to be, no problems, I have done the same thing mine.

Diplomat police cars came with 215/70-15 eagle GT tires on the 15x7 police wheels. Factory issue.

I like a 225/60-15 size better. And they will fit a 66-67 b body also.

Yes, that's where I came up with the size. I had a 68 b-body back in the day that I installed Diplomat police wheels with those eagle gt on, it handled very well. Too bad the eagle gt is no longer available in that size. Looks like the 225/60 15 lowers the car @ 1/2 inch.

Is there a chance that those 225’s might rub on a tight turn?

They didn't rub on my car. Now if your car is lowered or has bent suspension parts then it could.

I have a 1970 b body at stock ride height with 255/60-15 on the front on 15x7's, no rubbing ever. Cornering, uneven driveways, etc all fine. I doubt they would work on a 66-67 b body, the front corner of the fender will hit first.
