Those don't work on diesels!!!
 
That's one of those Vortex gaskets. Causes the air mix to funnel into the runners and give you great gas mileage to boot!
 
I have one at home that looks just like it. I consider myself lucky that it didn't hang up my throttle at some point.

Yeah man, I was just running through all the things that baby coulda done... just glad it didn't get sucked into one of the intake ports in a cylinder head. Is that even possible? Rather not find out.
