A bunch of the Gentry Brothers gang put that car together for Wendell Franklin, we talked "Moby" radio Wildman into coming down to the old Freeway drag strip, HIR, and make a pass in the car bearing his name. We all had a blast and he was on cloud nine.

Yup...wasn't there for that run but the car's name was Moby before the DJ came to Houston iirc. I remember seeing the name on the hood scoop in block letters and then once the DJ drove it, the name was added to the doors.....right? Man, that was a long time ago lol. I bought the car after after someone won it in a raffle. I'll remember his name if I sit here long enough....it was Jason Hamner's step dad if my memory serves me right. And you're the same guy that owns Rustic Window & Shutters?

Officially posting my newest 10 second times:
1.40 60'
6.448 660'
10.170 1/4 mile
106.07 660 mph
131.54 1/4 mile mph
These most recent were on November 19, 2017.
My very 1st run on the car was on July 24, 2014 and it went 12.154 @111.06.
About 3 years of upgrading, testing, tuning, etc.
To now go 10.170 @ 131.54 only cost somewhere in the range of about $18,000 (or so...if haven't added it all up) New motor, trans, converter, headers, fuel system, slicks, suspension setup, etc, etc ....LOL
My build is on my signature line.

Yes congrats Mike on tuning your Mopar to run so good ! Ron

Hey Mike that looks so good. I know how much love you have in that car. Today I got my tranny back in and with my knee feeling better I plan on getting ready for the 27th at Sonoma Raceway.

I am just getting my car back together. Maybe I will head down that way but, I don't want to go down there alone.

To those that care I have been offline for a few months dealing with some physical and mechanical issues since fall of last year but, finally I am ready to get back to the track. And excited...
