Post your 11 second combos

My Dominator install experience...as I have shared before:
1) A couple months ago on a Friday afternoon I ran a best 10.91 with Edelbrock 4150 single plane intake and 850 Mighty Demon Carb.
2) Friday nite (at track) I took off the Demon and installed a 4500 to 4150 Transdapt open adapter and installed my brand new Out Of The Box 1050 Dominator on top of the carb adapter with NO other changes.
3) First run Saturday AM the car ran a 10.61 (3/10th improvement) and I ran 4 more passes in between 10.61 and 10.66. Remember...only change was the Dominator with the adapter.
4) And I have been only improving on that with a change from the Transdapt Open Carb Adapter to a MVH Super Sucker combination CNC/Open spacer 4500 to 4150 adapter and other very small tuning adjustments...and have gotten the 10.61 down to 10.582 (with same or very close to the same air density)
(additional note: I still have not even rejetted the Dominator from the Out Of The Box 94 Secondary jets and 84 Primary jets with the 5.5 Power Valve...I am hesitant to "plug" the power valve and install 94's in the primary also...since it runs so good the way it is...but I will do that at a "test & tune" weekend but not at a race weekend.)
DOMINATORS RULE.
Mike I've been following your progress and its been impressive.
My Dominator is a 3 CURCUIT, Quickfuel body and I have the Moroso adapter.
I'm now 93 sq but could only get to a 1/8 mile track last weekend. The air was crap 88 deg, 46% humidity and the DA was 3400'. Ran 7.13 at almost 97 mph so the changes are working well. This yr I just plan on doing a lot of T&T until I get everything sorted out. The guy I got the carb from wants me to change the high speed air bleeds from 31 to 27's before I go higher in jet size. I will probably only go down to 29's 1st and see how it responds.
Like I've said before keep us posted on the changes you make and your progress. A lot of us a similar combos and you are helping us all.

I raced the HAMB nostalgia drags this weekend at Mo-Kan. It was a thrash to get ready as I broke about 3-4 weeks ago and decided to upgrade to a Dana 60. I went ahead and went through the transmission to make sure the sprag was okay. It's been really hot and humid so the car was running 11.41 the night it broke. At the HAMB it ran...11.41 like clockwork 3 runs in a row! Lots of fun!

Posting in the 10's Combo section soon...LOL

New best tonight! Cooler air and some tweaks and it ran 11.19 @ 121mph!
time to stop worrying about HP and get the rest of your combo working . I have run 10.88@122 . On Saturday in average air with a very strong cross/head wind , 1800-2000DA , 11.03@121
Good luck

My combo (ran last weekend)
1971 Barracuda
3600lbs with me
440 (.060)
TRW 6 pack pistons
Stock rods and crank
906 Heads with 2.14 and 1.81 ported by me at home flow around 260-265
SD Holley intake
850DP 83-84 jets x4
1 7/8 Hooker comp headers with TTI 3" exhaust all the way back ; H pipe
Dynamic 9.5 or TCi 8" (they run the same for me)
Racer Brown .520 lift 300 duration STH42 hydraulic cam, factory stamped rockers
SS 002, 003 springs (SS A Body) Clamped front springs on passenger side
28" Mickey Slicks or 29 x11.5 Hoosier Quick Time Pro's
Just did 91.5 1/8 mile (75 degrees and 68 degrees dewpoint) Has gone 11.62 @115mph

Also forgot to add:
4.30 8 3/4 with spool
Rev-n-nator Box
Fire Core distributor with light springs added
What used to be 40 degree timing in my old set up with factory Distributor and orange box-now wants 5 degrees less timing.
When I ran the nearly 92mph 1/8 mile at Grove Creek in Litchfield, MN I was talking to a Super Stock 69 Road Runner racer with a 383 who said he was down 4 mph in the humid conditions...75 degrees and 67-68 degree dew point...So there is much more to be had. I am used to 1/4 drags at BIR but tuning in the 1/8 mile is good for adjusting timing and launching. I was at 1.62--1.68 60 fts...Foot braking...slow tree..transgo updated valve body...

906 heads also have the chambers milled out of them.(made car hard to start when warm-even with new starter-and 110 octane--240lbs cranking compression now)

7.59 et. 91.42 mph....79 degrees and 95% humidity...Hoping for some great air October 9, 2016 and maybe hit 94-95mph

With good air you may break into 7.40s, good job.

Figured out some things this weekend. Ran best 60 ft ever of 1.54 but DA sucked @ 2800 so only ran best in the 11.20's. I did win my true radial class on Saturday with an 11.94 and took home $300 for that and $50 for winning my index Sunday. It ran an 11.499 on 11.50 index!
