Post your 11 second combos

Figured out some things this weekend. Ran best 60 ft ever of 1.54 but DA sucked @ 2800 so only ran best in the 11.20's. I did win my true radial class on Saturday with an 11.94 and took home $300 for that and $50 for winning my index Sunday. It ran an 11.499 on 11.50 index!
Congrats on the win...

With good air you may break into 7.40s, good job.
I ran at Grove Creek over the weekend with 48 degree air and 59% humidity--Ran 7.46 @92.58--did hit a 93.6 earlier in day but a poor run with lean condition off the line. Car was pulling hard. 1/8 mile track only. 1.619 60 ft time. Beat the 440 68 dart next to me with writing all over his car...He ran 7.75 @ 92.76..His 60 fts were only 1.793....My car seems more of a torque monster with the 520 lift Racer Brown cam..factory rockers...SD, and 850 DP...It has slowed down on EVERY type of solid I have tried. I keep coming back to this cam.

Here is my 71 Barracuda I have been talking about. My 69 GTX is for sale over at Hooked On Classics in Wa

The car runs quicker with the air cleaner lid flipped, vs no air cleaner at all. Better air flow/coolness I suppose

I had a '71 Cuda with a 440. It HATED the dual snorkel air cleaner. I put on a K&N and it really picked up! With just a cam and headers I saw 104mph.

It has the K and N for its filter. That is why it runs so good with a lid flip.

No, I meant open element filter! I didn't ever try a K&N in the snorkel, only paper, but the open K&N worked lots better!
I Like the stock look and it was quicker with factory snorkel than no air cleaner at all...Plus I beat a SuperStock 68 Roadrunner looking stock compared to the tricks they use...Anyway, I am going to build a 440 F.A.S.T type car with a 528 type 6 pack motor thru cast iron exhaust and redline factory type tires, for the future. I like to go fast and look as stock as possible.

Sounds awesome! I love the F.A.S.T. vibe of look stock but carry a big stick!

1972 400 block bored and stroked to 469. Eagle crank and Manley rods, Diamond pistons, Stealth aluminum heads out of the box, Comp Cams solid cam .540 lift 286 duration, Torker intake, Quickfuel 950, Hooker Super Comp headers, MSD 6al, MSD distibutor, 727 trans reverse manual valve body, 4200 stall, 8.75 rear with 3.91's. On slicks I'm running consistent 11.5's at about 116 mph. All this on worn out factory leaf springs, this winter I'll throw in my super stock springs that I have laying here.
This car is a daily driver and weighs in at about 4,000 lbs with my fat butt in it.

That's pretty stout for a 4,000 lb car! It`ll be interesting when you get the SS springs in it. Tell us how they worked next time your at the track!

Nice ride too, clean looking/quick & heavy car

Looks like it could use some help on the right side springs, good times though.

Anti-roll bar/adj. sway bar depending on suspension type
wouldn't hurt, better launches, less Torque Monster lean...

Right now, I'm running on the stock worn out leaf springs. All I did was new bushings. I have a set of super stock springs in the basement that are going to be installed this winter along with the adjustable pinion snubber.

Taking a similar combo to a Test and Tune tomorrow at Atco, NJ. 496" Stealth CNC, 4.30's, 3800 converter, M & H 275-60-15 Stickies, SS Springs. 6BBL Auto, through 3" Flowmaster exhaust. 69 RR @ 3750#.

Ran 11.62 @115 first time out. 30 degrees timing (don't ask...I'm an idiot) wouldn't run more than 115 mph, but ran the best 60' ever at 1.52!! Hoping to turn it up to 38 degrees and run some sub-11.50's. Will let you know.
