I am no one cylinder hit n miss expert and I know this is one of the first engines from the inventor of our modern 4 stroke engines...ie Otto cycle. But WOW.

Have always loved going to Pioneer Village. First time I went was when I was a youngster. 4 adults and 3 of us children went out in a 72 duster. That was a long, hot, uncomfortable 200 mile trip.

Wow! That is the original Otto cycle engine that was the forerunner of the modern 4 cycle engine. Very rare I would imagine since it is probably from the 1870s. Very cool.
