Revised Swap Plan- What do I need from Donor?

Found a great low mileage 2015 5.7 and trans in a wrecked quad cab 1500.

Planning to use the 8 speed. I have access to all stuff in the wrecked truck. What bits should we ensure we get while we still can to make the swap cleaner and easier?

At this time...I don't think anyone has the 8-speed worked out.

sounds like its time for you to start a new post for use on your swap out remember a lot of photos and text are needed

get the wiring harness, we did a 2006 Pontiac gto LS2 6.0 v8 into a Ferrari
we bought a scrap car and took all the wiring and eliminated the stuff we didn't want
we swapped the whole engine tranny and diff. yep what a bastard job.
so the more you have the easier it gets
