solid lifter

ok ... im running the 822-16 hydro lifter but thay keep collapsing when running and ya can watch them do it with the cover off ajusting them. if wanted to use a solid lifter yall got any pointers as to what to use that is close to the same size (tall mostly) so i maby be close enuff not to need another set of custom pushrods?? cam is spinning all the pushrods so seems it lived thro breakin. the lifters just keep going soft.

Remove & discard ALL the small pieces under the inner piston in the lifter. Get some s/steel washers to sit under the piston to get the desired height of the p'rod cup. File or grind a small groove down the length of the piston. You now have a sol lifter.
