The ONLY reason why the 426 hemi was built: TO RACE!



Listen over Jim McKay's voice to the car coming out of Turn 4. That race hemi bellows!
A BIG thanks to NASCAR for making Chrysler produce street cars with hemis in order to race them! All you guys with 426 street hemi cars are lucky to own one! :thumbsup:
 
I hear ya.Something that is still breaking records today. Engineered over 50 years ago and nothing has ever topped it.Today's top fuelers making over 10,000 HP with a passenger car design...
