torsion bars for a 440 going in a polara

i am working at finishing up the engine and need to know if i need to upgrade my torsion bars. 64 polara 440 with a 318 poly. i installed the just suspension's front end kit last year as well as it having the scarebird disc brakes on the front. just suspension has a 1" bar on sale right now , but not sure i will need 'em or if they will be up to the added weight of the 440.

I hav never used 1" bars, but my 64 has a 440 and .960 torsion bars and they work great. Not too stiff but they are strong enough that they haven't sagged in the 2+ years they have been in.
 
I forget the exact # but I think our RBs only weigh about 40 pounds more than a Poly. Those motors are lunkers. Your factory T-Bars should be up to the task since they're not the slant six units.
