The back of my steering wheel was pitted, so I painted it. As I get the stainless look back on the front, I started wondering which looks better.

on my original the "rubber" has let go on the top half and flops around on the frame . never even got to worry about the spokes
 
I've fixed a loose grip by injecting CA (super glue) with a needle and syringe.
