I was out in the shop when the chair started shaking. I'm thinking WTF ? Never occurred to me it might be an earthquake. On a related note:

Pres. Lol hope they are all ok. 5.9's out here are like oh did you feel that or was that gas from my ***? lmao when you get to 8.0 you will really feel the earth movin. It's like stomping it in drive vs flooring it in 1st then pounding 2nd. when all the metal in your car starts to rattle and shake you know you are close ;)

I was driving when it occurred,on Michigan roads(like I would have felt an earthquake...),and was listening to the radio. I heard the building shake in the background and it got eerily quiet. Then the talk show guy came back on,clearly shaken-no pun intended;OK,yes;pun intended-and stated "Uhh...I think we just had an earthquake here;folks,we may be going off the air ...". You could also hear the effects of the aftershocks.
