Does any one know the correct valve cover decal for 63 Fury Poly 318 and where they can be bought? I've seen a few different ones on e-bay but not sure which is correct.

I honestly don't remember any decal on the covers. I could be wrong though. My wife always says that I am.

You're looking for something that don't exist !!

gtxdude,

The 318 Poly did not have a valve cover decal when used in a passenger car. When used in the Dodge D-# series truck there was a VC decal, 318-200HP, engine painted blue. When used on the marine version there was a VC decal Fury-235, a VC decal Chrysler Sea V, engine painted blue. I have also seen a second VC decal on a 318 marine version Crusader, engine painted blue. The many 318 VC decals that are available now are for show.

They do exist ,i bought them off the net.they say 318 poly,i just cant remember who i bought them from but i will take a look

There are many new aftermarket decals available to dress up this engine. One of the members on my 318 Poly website has designed several of these and he'll also do custom work for your engine. They do dress the engine up with either painted or chrome valve covers.Note that none of these were on production engines...Nick T.

Thanks guys, I'm also wrong alot & chasing stuff that doesn't exist! furyus63 guy, I saw the decal at the top of your list there in a article about a Poly318 build up & thought that looked pretty cool on motor. I started hunting around and came up with a few on e-bay but not that one. If you could send me the info on where I could get that one that would be great. Just thought it looked sharp thats all. thanks

My dads 63 Fury 318 eng was red and had no valve cover stickers. Ron

gtxdude, one of my customers had a write up about his Poly318. Do these look familiar (pre-decal of course :D)?

While I was working them up, he emailed me this picture of the "perfect decal" he found for them. I had to laugh when I saw it in fury's post.

That's the decal! I saw it on motor in Chrysler Power (Oct) issue 318 poly build, decal on valve cover. If you get a chance find out where he got decal. The valve covers you showed look great. thankyou CudaChick :)

Thanks gtxdude! I was pretty sure the article you saw was about my customer -- I know his poly had magazine coverage.
