Up for sale is a rebuilt 440 long block. It looks to be a 76 block with cast crank. Cylinder heads were swapped to 452's with hardened exhaust seats. New parts include keith black hypereutectic pistons, new rings, clevite main, rod, and cam bearings, RV style camshaft with new lifters and new pushrods, and double roller timing chain. The block got the usually treatment, cleaning, new oil galley plugs and freeze plugs, cam bearings, and magna-fluxed to check for cracks. The rotating assembly was balanced and polished with the balancer and flexplate installed. Heads got a valve job with new guides and surface grind. Block is bored .030" over. Machine and assembly work performed by H&H Machine in Fort Worth TX. These guys have built nearly a dozen big block mopars for me in the past with no problems. Motor is still wrapped in plastic from the machine shop. Has been sitting for about a month and a half now.

As you all know I have way more in this motor than I plan to sell it for. I would like to sell this motor for $1,500. If you really wanted to pay shipping, I could quote it for you but I would have to find a crate. I also have intake maifolds, valve covers, timing covers, oil pans, and many more parts to complete the motor but they will cost extra.

Motor is in my shop in Haslet, TX.

I am selling because I plan to propose to my girlfriend soon and need money for an engagement ring. If I didn't need money for the ring, I wouldn't be selling this motor. I am also selling my 1967 Belvedere, 1978 Dodge Ramcharger,1989 Rexhall/Airex 25 ft. Class A motorhome, and a ton of parts I have accumulated over the years.
