Hi all,

Just a heads up... Beware of a buyer named Mark Darby... He and I are currently in negotiation to resolve a sold MSD box....
He beat me up on price and when we settled on a price... Well he was not happy with it and so I offered to give him a refund when he said naw, I will take a partial refund and keep it. I offered him several times to be return his money. It felt like extortion and so I felt others should know...

Thats shady. As long as you represented it as best you could and he agreed to the price there is no negotiations after that. Either a 100% refund and return the part or not. What the hell is this im not happy with it but I will keep it bs? Just give me some money back. WTF ever!

if he's trying to extort you out of money, you have the legal right to contact a lawyer about this.

You have his money, and he has his part that he bought from you on agreed price? So I really don't think he has a problem other than he sounds like a jerk who wants something for nothing. How did he pay? How long ago was this?

He paid via PayPal and beat me up on price plus shipping and after getting it.... He was mad I cut up the power cord to get it sell... He then proceeded to bitch at me about it and then say he wanted a $40 partial refund.... This was after offering him a full refund for it three times prior... If you are so concerned with it? Why would you want to keep something as critical as a ignition box and not want a full refund?

Let us know if he gets a refund from pay pal. If he does I'm done with pay pal. And there needs to be a sticky posted with a warning. If you offered to undo the deal, that's as good a deal anyone could ask for.

Truth, if you read Mark's FB post... I was thr biggest scoundrel ever.... However instead of posting it on the FB Mopar page where he bought it... He went to not I wasn't a member of and bitched... He also blocked me so I could not respond... Luckily, I have a few friends and buyers who knew me well enough to let me know, as well as defend me...

I actually discussed it with the pages moderator and she agreed that I should be allowed to defend myself... She contacted him and strongly encouraged him to speak... He chose to delete the thread...

The reason: I have the whole conversation saved on FB message and he would get ripped alive when I released it

Well guys the jury is in! PayPal sided with me!!! All suspended funds were returned to my account and as of now, he has the MP box and I the cash

A deal is a deal. Around 05 my late mother gave me her 93 chevy lumina 2 door sport coupe,it was as mint a car as ive ever seen as she never drove it and had it in a heated garage. After awhile i asked her if i could sell it as i wanted a truck and she said its yours to do as you please. I was asking a good amount of money as it was exceptional and nobody called except one guy with his son. The guy bought the car on the spot for a few hundred under the asking price. As luck had it another guy showed,saw the car and offered me more than what i wanted! I could have made a over 5 hundred more but like i said a deal is a deal and i told the guy no can do the car is sold-------Some folks have no character and some do
