Do any of you old timers still use feisch readers in your business? If so I have 2, one compact and one large from my old TV repair days that I would like to donate to someone that could use them. They are in my way, but I just can't bring myself to toss 'em. They would probably not ship well, don't what to do about that. I'm in Western NYS about 30 miles S. of Rochester.

A couple of these will take care of those old dinosaurs....

Havent seen them in years...
Of course, I am in the Air Force Flight Test business..
Not too high tech...
But I'll bet the Pentagon has em"

Seriously though..
They are correct and great for the "right" application...
(just saying)

I'd get "dizzy" flying thru them trying to find the correct "part"

Photon 440 has a good point!
And..you can claim a deduction on your Income Tax if you donate to charity...(Providing your not a republican or Tea Party member...)

I think he's referring to the "readers/viewers" old back lit screens with the trays,
that you put the micro-feish in/under to slide it thru to view them etc.,
not the actual micro-feisch parts catalog sheets/slides...

Local Libraries or Genealogy Societies would more than likely welcome the donation - my mother is still into Genealogy research, and that is commonly used tool of the trade. ;)

I found 4 of them still in use at the Camden SC Historical Museum when I finally got all of my service records. Some were on Micro Fish. So i'd say to try hysterical societies, libraries.

Again,
They are great for their applications..
Hard to get "Real-Time" data
Needs to be "Captive data"
Again, great for their purpose

Good points guys. There is a historical museum in Geneseo about 9 miles from me. I'll give them a visit. Thanks, Dave
