Hi everybody. My name is Martin. My handle is 74Sebring. I guess it's pretty obvious then that my Mopar is a 1974 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus. I'm building the 360 and mating that up with 727 Torqueflite and an 8 1/4 suregrip scavenged from a 73 Charger carcass. Hope to get lots of good advice and parts leads here. I've already read some of the posts as a guest. Helped me out a lot. Hopefully, i'll be able to assist somebody else one day.

Welcome to the FBBO site Martin. Post up some pics of your car when you get a chance.....we love pics. :hello2:

Thanks! I will if I can figure out how. She's rough right now but, once I get thru the mechanical upgrades, I'll start making her pretty.

welcome to FBBO from warm & sunny NorCal

Hi 74Sebring

Welcome to the site they are alot of knowledable individuals here. I have a 74 satellite sitting in a shed waiting its turn to be worked on. LOL

Hey- is that a factory 360 car?

I can't say I've ever seen one.

Seen a few 74 360 Chargers, though.

Yes it is. RP23J4Gxxxxxx

The J is the engine code and it corresponds to a 360 4BBL. it's also a body color TX9 car. Like I said, she's rough but she runs strong and will be a lot stronger when I'm finished. I did have to snag a 8 1/4 suregrip from a 73 Charger carcass though.

Hey Martin welcome to the MIT for Mopars ! This is the site my friend. Don't worry about how rough your car is - you should see mine and plenty of others on this site. Lots of help to be had here. Love to see some pics...!

Pics Have finally been posted in my photo gallery. Here's one more. Daisy12.jpg

Hey Martin, nothing like a rough Mopar. We've all had them. Welcome to Mopar University!

Well, I'm not a total newbie when it comes to Mopars. I've been away for a while but, I've had a few before. My first mopar was a 1976 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham. That baby was HUGE! The second mopar was a 1974 Satellite Sebring, boy it was rough. Once we got it settled down and running right, I sold it. Number three was a 1966 Chrysler 300 2DR HT, sadly I never got it on the road. I sold it to a guy who really wanted to restore it. Number 4 was a 1968 Fury 4DR sedan. I guy asked me if I wanted it and when I asked how much, he said take it today and it's free. I took it but lost my place to keep it so it was sold also. Number five was a 1987 RAM 1500. She looked good but mechanically, she was done before I got her. She'd had a hard life and just wanted to quit. I finally gave up when she lost all oil pressure, probably the cam bearings. I sold it and I think it became a parts donor. All of these led me to number six, my current 1974 Satellite Sebring Plus. Initially I was looking for a '66 or '67 Dodge Coronet since my cousin has a '67 Coronet R/T and we were going to rebuild them together. Unfortunately, the few Coronets I found at the time were too expensive and too far gone to be feasible for me. I started getting anxious to get something and that's when the Sebring appeared. It ran/runs strong so I negotiated a fair price and pulled the trigger. Daisy (my friend named her that) needs some TLC but, I'm hanging on to this one. If you've made it to this sentence, you're an extraordinary person. Maybe I should have started a new post called "Tell us all about your Mopars" If anyone replies, I promise I'll read every word. :)
