OMG. That's you? I watched on Friday. Channel 81 here in Comcast land. Seems like lots of cars did not sell. Did the 6 speed Hellcat go for $67-5?

Seems like a depression in the car selling game. Great for buyers that are planning to drive them - not so sure about investment collectors.

D...

hells ya, that's me! in all my fat glory!! lol I believe the Hellcat did sell at $76 with buyers' premium. lemme check

K...

we're in a time of driver cars now, IMHO...people just want to drive the junk they bought. it's a great time!

Looks like fun Mar. I also noticed all the 10+ year old Mercedes and Beemers selling for a few thousand. Talk about depreciation LOL. The problem with those cars is that if something major goes wrong it'll cost more to fix than the car is worth. I've seen some fairly nice ones sitting out in front of the boneyards around here with bad engines, trans, etc. Costs too much to fix 'em.

So the Red Hellcat sold for $67.5 x 8% buyer's premium (maybe less if they worked a deal out) = $72.9 out the door

Silver one still available...

It was a blast, Smitty!! it's a free-for-all car show if you have a bidder's pass!! you can get fresh with a car and nobody will give a second look!! lol

I hear ya though with the Foreign cars. that's the chance you gotta take. if you can take the car to a Merc dealer and have it checked out and fixed for $2 g's. and possibility not have problems for 10 years, you bought a winner! lol just gotta do your homework before you hit the block.

I hear the auction in Kissimmee is the one to go to. is there a way to see a complete list of cars they are going to have there beforehand?

Thought I saw a Mar sa ydees 600 V12 go across for under 10k. A buddy of mine has a newer diesel and I had no idea it was a diesel for a long time until we pulled into a station go 'gas' up. Wouldn't mind having that car. It handles great and hauls ***. Also saw a 73 Cuda with a 360 that I thought went for a reasonable price. Yeah, it's wasn't original or anything but it was done well. Was surprised to see some go so cheap. One car that went cheap probably had that much money in paint alone.......maybe it was an earlier C3.....

Yes, Kissimmee is the one to go to. 3000+ cars.

The consignment list grows by the day the closer you get to the auction, Dickie. check around thanksgiving time and most of the cars should be in by then.

I went last year had a blast. Saw a lot of very nice cars and some regular ones too. Spent several hours just walking thru the tents. I didn't have a bidder number so couldn't get into the roped off area with the Wellborn cars. Hoping to go again this year.
The Brevard county mopar club usually has their show in Melbourne about that time of year also.

I went by the auction on Thursday and Saturday. I noticed that there was about four or five T/A Challengers that were going to be up for sale. On the B-body side, there was a 1971 Superbee 440-6 that was going on the block Friday. It was a no sale at $56,000. There was also a well restored 67 Hemi Satellite that was a no sale at $66,000. They were both great cars but they seem to get no respect in the land of big money e-bodies...sad.

See the Fisker? Who the heck is gonna fix it when the shifter doesn't "deploy. Agreed though, buyers market.

Yeah, saw the Fisker close up. cool car, but definitely a white elephant

When I saw it was in Chicago I though of you too, will he buy another car ??...LOL

thanks for sharing...

Yeah I noticed allot of the deals too, especially on the regular used cars, not really collector cars...

Buyers market, when they actually sell/meet reserve prices that is,
seemingly {maybe just me} allot of "the bid goes on", cars too...
