I was looking for an intake manifold and found one for a good price on ebay. I contacted the seller and it turns out he's a Mopar guy from NY who just recently relocated his shop to Melbourne, FL. Seems very knowledgeable, and when I checked his website I saw a lot of his stuff is listed at 2016 prices instead of the 2007 prices many OEM parts vendors are still using. I ended up with a nice Performer440 intake and a used but tested good Carter HP fuel pump for $200 including shipping. And I would have gotten an Edelbrock 750 w/elec. choke, ready to install, for $145 but someone else had just snagged it.

The shop's name is Elite Vintage Auto, and the website is http://www.elitevintageauto.com/.

x2, I bought a somewhat hard to find 71-74 bench seat shifter bracket at a fair price (almost 1/2 of Brewer's price).

He don't take paypal, though.

What's his Ebay address please ?

Are you saying his 2016 prices are cheaper than the 2007 prices?? And yeah, if so, what's his Ebay address?

Good to know, too bad it's still around the East Coast...LOL

I spoke to him off and on about a Dana 60 best prices I've seen. If I remember correctly he said he'll even bring your stuff to any of the shows he attends.

His ebay seller ID is elitedrivelineparts

Yeah, that was a bummer. I'm used to paypal. But you call him up and give him your CC info, and he sends an invoice to your email that you need to verify and return as an authorization.

That is Joe Balboa aka Fastfish aka Rumblefish Performance from New York. I have heard he moved there and is doing better...

He did take a check, though.

im am hot happy with quite a bit of work joe balboa did for me ... aka elite vintage auto.... who is now in melbourne FLA NY I PAYED HIM TO REMOVE A 8-3/4 NARROWED REAR AND CUSTOM BUILD AND NARROWED DANA 60..he welded one of the coil over brackets in the wrong place i notice this after i get the car home 100 miles away.. next problem the welds on the ladder bar to the dana crack ...thank god i had not driven the car hard due to dana break in restrictions could have been ugly..i pick the car up and within a hundred miles the dana starts to howl loud and leak from front seal i call he comes out with a trailer loads the car and fixes the problem...(very fair ) now 200 miles later the dana howls loud i mean can not stand to drive the car HE CLAIMS ITS DUE TO THE WAY THE DANA IS INSTALLED HARD MOUNT NO RUBBER - HEIM JOINTS LADDER BARS ETC... IS THIS TRUE ? I DO NOT THINK SO he also installed 4 wheel disc low soft pedal at best... had to pay another shop to replace the master cyl it would purge brake fluid out of the vent on the fill cap.. willwood prop valve( bent shut seats) and lastly the entire brake main lines where the inside diameter was incredible tiny new shop said not enough flow could work the brakes properly .. now they are great .. JOE WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE OR EMAIL I HAVE BEED SUPER NICE AND AS UNDERSTANDING AS ANYONE COULD BE... I HAVE CALLED ONLY ONCE A WEEK ...SENT EMAILS... NO REPLY... BOTTOM LINE I SHOULD HAVE DONE ALL MY SELF I JUST DO NOT HAVE THE SKILL OR TOOLS /TIME FROM WORK ..... ANY ONE ELSE HAD THIS HAPPEN ...ONE B BODY MEMBER HAS BEEN NICE AND SAID HE WOULD TRY TO TALK TO JOE OM MY BEHALF AS HE LIVES REAL CLOSE TO ELITE VINTAGE AUTO .... HOPE HE RESPONDS I AM WILLING TO PAY A FAIR AMOUNT TO YET TRY AGAIN ...TO KEEP MY SIDE OF THE STREET CLEAN RANT OVER

Shouldn't matter how the Dana is mounted. I have one with over 300 passes on it with Heim joints/ladder bars and solid bushing shocks. It only started howling near the end of the season. You could hear it whenever you shut off the engine and coasted down and then it got to where you could hear it on mild acceleration over the headers. By then, I'd say it's getting loud. The gears were also 'Pro' gears which are also softer than street gears and wear faster but that's what you need in drag racing so shock loading doesn't break them....

I would say Do Not buy from this guy. I purchased a Dana 60 from him that he built. It took double the time that he promised and I had to hound him for it. I had the axle in the car and it was leaking from the pinion before I even drove it. The yoke was pitted and rough when I took it apart. Then after driving it 50 miles, it started to howl. Taking off the back cover, the fluid was black and full of metal, and gears were not set up right, wear pattern on the edge of the gear...just a horrible axle and terrible experience. Shame on me for buying off the internet and trusting this hack, should have known better.

PS - no store front or shop address. Just a phone number and email address. Your not going to visit him. Buyer beware.

So you took the brand new rear apart before you drove it to fix the leak ? So there fore you may have over torqued or under torqued the pinon nut? Then wiped the rear out ? I've dealt with Joe many different times and he warranty s his stuff ! Unless someone did something they shouldn't have ! Kinda sick of seeing this one sided crap about a issue but instead of sending it back for warranty someone that has no idea what there doing decide s to have a go at it then gets pissy when they brake something!

And as for a wait ! The guy isn't Amazon ! He doesn't have a warehouse full of everything! He builds everything to order, if there's 10 people in front of you guess what oh well !

And lastly he does have a shop with an address witch people can go to !
