MAXIMUM TIMING FOR RACE MOTOR

You're still over a second and half slower than my pump gas 498. Keep chipping at it, maybe you'll get out of the 11's some day

APPLES to ORANGES comparison. 2800 stall, 3.55 gear and a dedicated street car that I occasionally DRIVE to the track.

Thanks for posting that pic! I'm a handsome devil.

What's your excuse now?. You did put a dana 60 in recently?
Never heard of 3.55's in a Dana 60 before.
And wasn't your trans out recently?
Since you're chasing ET, why not make the change to a more aggressive setup?
I street mine also with a 8" converter. No issues at all.
Unfortunately my track is over 2 hours away otherwise, I'd be driving mine to the track.
Best ET 9.94

The new Dana 60 has 3.54 gears. Trans was out to check sprag. I was offered to try a higher stall converter and declined (for now) because the goal is to get THIS very mild combo a 10.

Excuses? It's dropped from 11.76 to 11.19 with minor tweaks and tuning this summer. I'm chasing E.T. WITH THIS COMBO first.

Fall weather and a decent DA will get us the number. The 11.19 was ran at 2500 DA.

See, my cars go faster as time goes on. I don't buy them from someone else and slow then down..

You seem to be deflecting. Why not go to a different converter?
Why the baby steps? Is it because you're nervous to break parts because you're on a tight budget?
I'm sure you'd give your left nut to go a high 9 second pass.

And you keep saying that I bought a car and slowing it down. You realize that your information is totally inaccurate, but keep trying to knock my car down, because you could only dream about going a 8.57@162MPH
Your move Tiger.

Well at least he built it himself and dont have to pay someone to build his eng , trans, rears and the rest of the car. Ron

well lots of different thoughts here. What I was told from a very good mopar engine builder is this. Take out three degrees and see what happens. slower? take it up 3 degrees run it. Same as first run take it up 3 more degress run it see if its better or worse. better take it up two degrees. etc. Test and tune days are the best to compare it. It's not rocket science.

RON, WHY ARE YOU GANGING UP ON SSR?
What's your agenda here?

My 511" victor headed engine like 32 degrees total advance on the dyno. I'm a big fan of the 38 max rule when you are leaning on stuff. With pump gas I usually go 34 max on an iron headed engine. I can see where a .509 cammed 440 with 906 open chamber heads and 2" primary headers might like 38* on 110 Sunoco or something like that.

I take pictures at Lebanon Valley and Empire Dragway
When will I able to get a picture and video of you?
Keep in mind, you better have a up to date chassis certification and competition license.
They've been very strict
