I just responded to a thread selling a rally dash and it got me thinking. Im the first to admit im a novice in mopar knowledge compared to alot of the guys here. I ve had 3 darts, a barracuda, a d100, satellite and a charger. And the main thing ive learned dealing with mopars is you better be damned sure you know what youre looking at. So many of the parts ive searched are one year only parts. Fenders, trim peices, etc. It makes me appreciate having a site where you can get a lead in the right direction. So heres the direction im heading now

I've been in the game for over 35 years owning and playing with b bodies and i still
learn something new every day..

If You end up wih it & You intend to splice in qtr skins, i would step those lap joints.......best move is to drill the spot welds & cut roof joint, replace ALL the qtr skins including decks. Good luck.
Another approach is if You splice in,,,,,use panel adhesive on joints instead of welding.....it will save a ton of body work to compensate for heat distortion.

Your not alone, me too...

Actually its mine. Im counting on the guy painting it to do it right. Hes done work for several friends who are a lot picker than me so with his gaurantee im trusting him. But stop to check on his progress often. So far hes doing in my opinion very good work. It was a really good car to start but almost 50 yrs old they all have somehting to fix. Heres what it looked like a few months ago as I stripped it to take to paint
