Another one bites the dust

Look at the bright side, every 69 Charger that's crashed makes the ones that are left more valuable. By my calculations, if you own a nice 69 Charger it should be worth about $1 more now. You are welcome to check my math. I'm being sarcastic, I hate seeing these cars crashed for some stupid stunt. Like Bb70charger500 said, why not crash a new Mustang.

There but must have been a lot of pipe run through the car...did not kink at cowl badly..did not break windshield......

In all reality there were not as many wrecked as to how many were produced. Normal wear and tear claimed many more.

Seen the car that tonight, it was a complete pile

Still say it's amazing the windshield didn't break, pop out & it didn't kink worse at cowl.....that was a severe nose down attitude when it hit....I think there has to have been pipe run through to core support.

Windshield was lexan

Windshield was lexan
OK....still, the fact that major distortion stopped at cowl box and windshield frame didn't twist & pop the lexan out,,that hood didn't end up overlapping cowl, leads me to conclusion car had pipe run from interior cage through cowl to core support. Just my opinion.

Yeah, you can see all the cage on the inside, I'm sure more pipe up front like bladecutter said. You could also see the paper/plastic/vinyl grill and tailpanels too. I was inside in the basement waiting for the doors to open to the public and did see it in the air. I wasn't interested in seeing it up close. Loved watching the show but it's time to let it go already, lol.
