Reading a thread about a scary movie prompted a thought. What movie, while out on a date, was the best or most memorable, for whatever reason. Good, or bad. Maybe the movie was great, maybe your date, maybe both ? Or, vice-versa. One bad, the other good ? Mine, it was The French Connection. Both movie & date was great. The date was better...

I did pretty well in all the "Rocky" movies back in the day...

most my dates had to sit thru car stuff,
it was a test, if they put up with that stuff
then they were a keeper, until they tried to change me :BangHead:

depending on the era

American Graffiti
More American Graffiti
The Hollywood Knights
Corvette Summer
Funny Car Summer
American Nitro
French Connection
Gone in 60 Seconds Org. & newer
Speedway
Clambake
Viva Las Vegas
Days of Thunder

007, James Bond Movies were always good too

horror flicks got them to snuggle up close,
I'm not a big fan of zombies, vampires or horror BS thou
the oldies yes, the new crap hell no !!

I'd do the chick flicks {they like}
only after I was in good & they passed the test...

I haven't been to any theater in over a decade min.

I do better on my home turf & the big screen at home
don't have all the rude/crude people, always on their cell phones
or the god damn talkers, youngsters always playing grab ***,
in front or behind you either that way...

Years ago a girl I was with insisted we go see "Under the Tuscan Sun". Man the action I got for giving in was something. It was so good I kinda still like that damn chick flick...

Pet Sematary when it came out. Only got to see half of it. She was a just divorced 30ish Blonde. Was in a 74 charger too.

Hard to pick which movie as we, my future wife and I went every Saturday (68'/69') night while we dated. Even after we married we still hit the drive in on Saturday night. When the kids came I built a padded deck to cover the rear seat so they could sleep. However, the drive-ins started closing and the ones still open had crap movies.

House party....This girl I was after wanted to see this movie real bad...we showed up late and it was a late show...the place was packed...the movie was funny. Then comes the end.....the house lights go on....we are the only white people in the place....that was funny!

My date was a young lady that had just immigrated to LA from Saigon. Long story that I won’t bore you with..... But we went out on a date, had something to eat then I chose a movie for us to see. Not even thinking I said - hey why don’t we go see “When we were Soldiers” that’s supposed to be a good movie. She says okay. Well if any of you recall it was a one of the bloodiest Vietnam War movies ever put out - directed by Mel Gibson. I felt like an idiot all the way thru the movie. Well -it all worked out okay - we've been together 17 years now. She tells that story to people all the time...... definitely the most memorable date/movie for me.
