Seeing as my original thread was high jacked and ultimately closed to comments, I wanted to thank those members who replied to my actual question.

- yes, I checked some websites such as gun broker and other forums
- when I posted it, I hadn't had time to go to any local retailers. I tend to stay clear of them to avoid paying mark up pricing. Seems like the $30-$40 range is where it is.
- I have enjoyed owning the SW99 for about 8 years and hundreds of rounds, so far no issues with the frame

Hmmm,
Guns KILL!

Ha Ha!
Only kidding....
I'm a LIFE/Benefactor member (NRA)
Funny thing,
I bought my wife a little S/W Ultra Light 22 revolver years ago when they first came out
I personally LOVE it, she likes it
now, here in So Cal, many of the LA County Sherriff's department are carrying that S/W MP 2.0 9mm (laser equipped) as a secondary
(My Bud just retired LA County Sherriff)

S/W99
The SW99 rendition of the popular Walther P99 was the product of a joint collaboration between Smith & Wesson and Walther. The modified receiver used in the SW99 is supplied by Walther and is manufactured in Germany. Smith & Wesson manufactures the slide and barrel of the SW99 in the United States.

Thanks for the update. Sorry the post got Jacked.

Shoudn't have even been on a car forum, sure your NRA associates could serve you better than this site. How 'bout a "snowflake " apology, are you man enough to do that?

If you didn't notice, there are all sorts of off topic conversations here.

Must really suck to live somewhere where you're constantly under such threat that you need to be armed everywhere you go !!

Are you still looking for the magazine? I think a member posted a link to gun broker who had one for $29.

Not nearly as bad as Canada....or our libtard states. We have options.

Not a threat, but more of an issue of being prepared or unprepared. I don't travel around in my vehicle without a jack and spare tire or take off hiking in the mountains without water.

You obviously do not understand. It is our right to bear arms. Every household i know of has them. We are not all NRA members. We are proud Americans.
We enjoy owning, operating and improving on them just like our muscle cars. We discuss them with friends just like our cars.
General discussion here involves all aspects of our lives here....including guns and ammo.

Thank you for your opinion but it will not change ours.
