What is the opinion here? Is it accurate, will i learn something i don't know, is it worth $20 at Barnes and noble? I'm interested because I have an a12 but it seems slightly thin for the money.

I was honored that Wes asked me to contribute to the book so I know a little about it.

There is some, but not a lot, of A12 info as Wes was shooting for a larger audience and there is already a lot of A12 specific info out there. If you are looking for a nice overview of the model plus some detailed factory and personally collected info, you may enjoy it. The production quality is very high.

Snakeyes, i know i can probably find it cheaper on Amazon, and the one item i bought there saved me enough money to buy new racing jacket and pants, but i ran across this book there and i like trying to support brick-and-mortar stores if i can, so I'll buy it there. It isn't really about the money, it's more will i learn something. It's beautifully produced, and i probably will purchase. 69coronetRt recommendation helped convince me. Thanks both!.

Hard to say if you'll learn anything from the book, not knowing what you already know, but for the money it is a good read. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it to any '69 Bird owner.

I went into a books a million store and got it cheap

Just bought Eisenschenks book (and two others) at b and n. The butterscotch cover car didn't hurt. So is mine. (Yes, i know, bahama yellow, 96, butterscotch is just a better descriptor ).

got one of the stores up the street plus I always go into half price books

I bought it last year. Nothing in it that I didn't already know, but a nice overview of the RR model nonetheless.

yes every now and then I hit these book stores and find some bargains you'd be surprised what you will find cheap

fwi - You even knew about Jock's regional special paint cars in LA? If so, that's impressive.

If anyone's interested in signed copies I sell them for $25, which includes shipping to the lower 48. Thanks!
