Only have one set of keys for the Polara. They are original (I was told). They actually feel like a light weight aluminum.

Looking to have a spare set made. Went to the old key guy in town and they could only find the trunk replacement blank.

Anybody have any thoughts.

Thanks.

Try Tony's Parts or eBay. Tony would know where to find them. Here is his website, just email him, he is real responsive. If he doesn't have a lead, eBay is full of OEM key blanks.

I bought these on ebay. I'll look up what they cost and the seller. Some are selling them for outrageous prices. I had to wait on these to come up and also to get both keys not one or the other.

In my research it appears 1963 was the last year for the "Foward Look" logo. After that it was the "Penistar" logo.

I paid $33. for these plus $4.50 shipping.
autonut2 was the seller from Dexter MI.

Here's another seller on there now...

I purchased 5 sets from "Key Blank Sales" for my 65. I think they are the same.

Flag, Sorry. I meant to give the blank numbers: 1764P for ignition and 1764S for trunk.

I saw those on ebay and I just couldn't pull the trigger for spares at that price so I got a pair of knock offs for less than half the price.
BTW, I called Tony and ordered one of his new speaker covers (tan). Mine is not in the greatest of shape so I'll put this one on and see what I can do about repairing original.

Guess I had rotten luck, trying to get keys. Bought a pair from one of the outlets, took 'em down to a key maker, and was told they would not cut keys on his machine, except ones from him! Had to special order a set, had him cut 'em, and the damn things wouldn't work!

Was that for me, 493 Mike?

Either way, doesn't matter. Three different attempts to get a trunk key cut, all won't turn the lock.

Saw a square head ign. blank, trunk on E-bay yesterday Also Penta star blanks
