Budnicks really likes it too

I dig the 50's cars, pretty cool looking if you ask me. I particularly like the 49 and 50 Mercs and Hudson Hornets.

in the end....put it to rest....good to see a kid like the oldies! BTW that HEMI sound real nice!

Man that car is nice. My dad had a 57 2 Door savoy, he used it as his everyday car for a few years. No heat, manual steering and drum brakes. I like the black one better though. Has a nicer quarter window.

NOPE the proportions are all wacky.

I agree, although I still think this car is cool as ****, Mopar really dropped the ball on the rooflines of late 50's 2 door sedans. It looks like they stuck a 4 door sedan roof on a 2 door. I actually prefer a 4 door Hardtop over a 2 door sedan in 1957-59.

The 2 door Hardtop has a MUCH sexier roofline, GM liked it too, they copied the 57-59 Dodge/Plymouth roofline in 1959 for their 2 dr hardtop models. Also the hockey stick trim on the Fury's really complemented this body style (tall fins).
