Anything that came apart that bad, I would have expected parts scattered a little wider. (And maybe a few toes.)

I find it amazing that not one of those trucks that got stopped by the bridge got rear-ended by a car following too close.

True. As I watched some of those vids, when the wheel stand was approaching vertical, the first thing that came to my mind was "why in the hell are you still in the throttle?".

If the bridge is marked as 11'8" is closer to 12'8' due to snow pack.

I have watched many videos from that bridge. The railroad actually got tired of the bridge getting hit so they installed a steel I beam structure just before the bridge. Now the trucks strike the I beam instead of the bridge.
