Remember this smashed up post roadrunner?

I was a big fan of their original YT show. It was low buck, raw and very relatable to the average car guy.
Now, behind the corporate pay wall, meh - the innocence/enthusiasm seems lost, almost like they're scripted sometimes.
I understand their obligations to those who sign their paychecks. It's just sad. The show has lost its' "heart", which was
what made it so good.

Motor Trend On Demand is $4.99/month. Has a show that relates to every type of enthusiast (even a few all-female car shows), with tons of 'original series' content. Hardly a 'pay wall' for the content they produce, especially the Engine Masters series. Road Kill series is about the most down to Earth car show available, I actually prefer the Road Kill Garage with Steve Dulcich and Freiburger for pure hobby related entertainment.

That's definitely Finnegan.

My guess is that they'll use Stubby Bob and an old rusted ship yard chain and pull a wheelstand while attached to the Road Runner's frame. Should pull the dent out nicely.

BTW they've had the wrecked Plymouth since February, Road Kill show should air any month now. Shows them grinding on the drive shaft, can probably imagine how they got it home :steering:

I can see them chaining it down and pulling the massive dent out of the side with another car hooked to it. I really like their show.
Of course, they will have to build the special 'dent removal vehicle'...maybe something like an old tractor with multiple 440s

drive it as is at "lemons"?

...or do I smell a convertible?

The issue of "Pay TV" is a hot topic for me.
It is only $5 a month.
Yeah, that is fine but every little charge adds up. Remember when basic cable was $30 per month back in the early 90s? Who pays less than $100 per month for cable now? Pandora wants $5 to play the music without ads, Cell phone bills, blah blah...
After awhile you learn that almost everything you do that used to be free now has some "small" fee.

Well, it's a small fee for hundreds of hours of original content and thousands of hours of car shows / live racing events with no commercials. Less shows I'm forced to turn on YouTube for, the better.

There is nothing free and anything advertised for free should be banned on consumer fraud. I you have to purchase something to get something free, the "free" item must be included in the price, right? One of my pet peeves (along with pricing gasoline to the tenth of a cent).

This car is at a friends house. Ive seen it several times in person and I cannot wait to see what roadkill does with it. It's basically folded. If there had been a passenger in the car, he wouldn't have made it. I'm mostly glad that my buddy who was driving it walked away from that without a scratch......

Way back in 1970 a guy slid his new Camaro into a pole like the RR. Not quite as bad but buckled the roof up a couple of inches. Insurance fixed it.

I saw a 83 and up camaro that slid into a pole between the door and the rear wheel.

Pushed everything all the way to the drive shaft, but the door and wheel/axle were perfect.
