Id like the opinions about using the leaf spring relocation kit to put a wider tire on my car what you say? my combo is not bad now but id like to swap over to a radial tire combo

Never messed with anything older than 66 but understand the 64-65's have more room for mini tubs than the 66-67 B cars. I know for a fact that the 66-67's are pretty tight even with mini tubs.....

I buy that. Seems like my '65 Coronet did have more room up high in the wheel well.

Where did you get or refurbish your trunk finish panel, and rear bumper?

Springs relocated 3" in to the frame rails. Mini tubbed to the frame rails. 15" X 12" wheels with 29X15.0R15 M/T Street Radials.

My 67 is mini tubbed. & springs are relocated, have a N50 (28" x 12" tread) with plenty of room to go wider, with a different offset I bet I could get close to a 15" wide tire in there

this my rear when i got it it had a set of m/t n50-15 and the way he got those on it was to cut holes in the wheel house

I'll trade you body for body. This one is tubed, caged, frame tied, and is set up for stock springs or moved in and also 4 link. I'll even throw in a parts car.

Mine is an E body. We moved the sprints inboard and mini tubbed to the frame rails. I can now fit 15"x12" wheels with either 315/60/15 Drag Radials or 29.5x10.5 W Slicks.

You just need to crawl under there with a tape measure and figure it out. If you can live with a 12 or 13 inch tire then you can split the factory tub and add a filler panel down the middle. That will give you a factory looking tub and is an easy task for a street rod shop. Cutting out the entire factory tub and installing an aftermarket tub is a lot more work. On my '65 we split the factory tubs. It has 15 inches of clearance so I can easily run a tire with a 13 or 13.5 inch section width.
