Beautiful car. Of the two schemes available for this model, I prefer the B scheme.

I truly do like the "B" Scheme
Mine as you know is the "A" scheme like my high School "Bud" had in 1971-1972, his Dad bought it for him as a 2 year old car...
Bob Tasca, Carl Tasca and youngest David Tasca (Yup, their Dad was the Big Bopper, Bob Tasca Senior, creator of the 428 Cobra Jet) and now Bob III the only races Ford sponsored Funny Car), well, they all admired and respected the SC/Rambler
Mine just happens to be the #2 Car made...
Now, my 390 Engine is in Valley Head Service, Northridge CA for a "Stout rebuild"

Larry with "Ruben" who has been doing HEAD work for Larry on the left for 35 years.
Yup, that is a Lamborghini V-12 and a Ferrari 275 Engine...
My little AMC 390...tee-hee-hee

This is Larry Ofria, He's been building Engines/Heads since early 50s, Professionally. He's 82 now. Great guy!

Very nice AND RARE...
Remember, just because the "sheeple" have not caught in does not mean it's NOT a Collector!
Yeah, IMO these AMCs are way under priced and off the RADAR...
My SC/Rambler is truly gaining in popularity even though they only made 1,512
At auction, the prices are escalating...

Im sitting on another 390 AMX and a RWB 4 speed "Machine" ... both solid projects

Never drove one or rode in one, always wanted to know how well they preformed compared to original mopars of same area. Could only imagine how difficult it would be to acquire items to restore anything amc .

We bought my wife's real GTO, 1965 Royal Bobcat Tribute car from Volo...
Once I test drove it and saw it in person, I demanded and got an additional discount to bring the price down lower than what I had negotiated on the phone. The engine was pinging badly, and I later found out that the distributor timing was WAY too far advanced. Reason for my demand for a discount? I thought we would have to get the engine rebuilt. A year later I found a cracked crank bearing and had to rebuild the engine.
They have some nice cars, but beware!
ps: the S/C Rambler is a GREAT car model!
