Old pic just showed up. Father-in-law(1969), my company also in mid-70’s. Also the first type semi I ever drove! No fun for a newbie especially in the snow/ice.

You earned your money in that thing!!
Sure glad they have improved since then...

White box on roof? Early add-on a/c, in those days.

I messed up on the title, should’ve been “ironbuilt” ; maybe he’s on a run to Ohio?!!

As s kid growing up across the street from RCA in the 60's-70's, I remember the trucks rolling into the shipping/receiving driveway. Sun, Moon, REA Express, Navajo PIE, Yellow, Carolina, Time DC and many others. Seems they all had Detroit 2 strokes with the occasional gas job.

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to be late to the party. Left on Sunday with steel to Pa., then truck bodies to Ky. From there it was "slinky" coils to Ga., and home with a load of steel for Pa. on Monday.

I also invested in a few "toys" this week. I am tired of giving the truck wash $50.00 of my hard earned money every week.
