Lol, that” little bit” of chrome looks bad when dirty.

Jealous!
The one thing I missed out on...truckin' down in a 'large car'...must be a hell of a ride! (Always stuck in a cabover.) Freightliner at that. Still, was good times.

Top notch looking ride!

When I was 18 I was working for a trucking outfit we had a wash bay in the back where we would do truck and trailer washes and trailer washouts. That place was a gold mine.

Here is what $50.00 and 7 minutes looks like.

So I invested $400.00 in a power washer and a soap spray gun and I will do it myself from now on.

Its gonna get real salty real soon! Let the snow and salt season begin. I guess it has already happened to you driving the Midwest this month.

Unfortunately, I have been dealing with salt since the first week that I had the truck. My first trip was to North Dakota in the beginning of November. 12 below zero when I arrived!!

Thats a beautiful rig.

My first ride was a 1969 White 4000. 250 Cummins naturally aspirated. No p/s, no a/c, not evan a radio. Velvet ride which was anything but and a springy seat cushion bolted right to the floor. Hauled steel otr with that pos. Good old days right? Not!!

I learned to drive in a 1973 Mack DM-800. No PS, no AC, no radio and an 20 speed, twin stick "quad box". Easy to say that I have come a long way with my W900 Studio Sleeper and power EVERYTHING!!

Ironic, but I’m listing a bunch of old truck model kits on eBay right now. Here’s the early 70’s dm 800. Trucks have come a long LONG way over the years.

Way back, we had a rash of DD 6V92 engines go out all at once; had to get a bunch of rental cabovers. None of the drivers liked them because they all had p/s.
