hello all from the” Land of Enchantment” finally got my hands on a dream car, A 73 Dodge Charger! It has a newly rebuilt 400 with less than 500 miles on it, at least that’s what the previous owner said. They also thought it was a 440, but after checking #’s it is a 400. No complaints here this car sounds amazing, aluminum intake with 1407 Edelbrock Carb, Holly/hooker competition headers, magnaflow mufflers. Holly electric fuel pump, electronic distributor and ignition. B&M shifter and I believe the 727 transmission. It needs a brake job and new wheels and tires before I can take it out, car sat a few years. So now I’m going to try to upload some pics of this beast. Thanks for letting me ramble and brag a little bit, don’t get to do that very often.

Welcome aboard from Ohio, answers are here.

Welcome from Alabama. Looks to be a solid ride. Now for the elbow grease and you will be riding in style.

Welcome from North Carolina. I had a 73 SE just like that one. Mine was originally a 318 car that I put a 383 in. Man do I miss that SE. Best of luck to you.

Ohio here......

Welcome to the forum....Great to see a 73!

Welcome from Michigan and what a great car you have.

Welcome !
My Charger called Bernalillo, NM home until I got it. It certainly doesn't care for the cold NY winter.

Welcome,
I like it especially the slots on the back, maybe try and find a pair for the front.
Odd that someone could get a motor rebuilt and not know what size it is?

This car belonged to my friends father who passed away a few years ago she thought it was a 440 but I’m sure the dad knew what motor he had. The owner before him rebuilt the engine but the dad did a lot of the upgrades. Thanks for looking.
