Bookmarked. Please post progress pics and how extremely happy you are when done.

So the 4sp in your screen name must refer to overdrive ????

SUBSCRIBED! I'm teetering on the fence regarding this very thing.

Very Cool Man I have a Gear Vendor and absolutely love it ! you will too

The Charger is my only 'auto'mobile all the others are manual. I have to shift constantly around here & the auto trans makes for a very relaxing change of pace for me.
It's nice to just mash the gas & go, especially in miles & hours of stop n go
I'll
Be paying close attention here, thanks!

I’ve been weighing the different between an auto with OD like this or adding a gear vendors unit behind my 727. The 727 needs a full overhaul and upgrade$ so add that to the cost of the gear vendors unit behind it and I think I’ll be taking a big chunk out of the cost of and overdrive transmission. I might take the plunge if I don’t need to cut my floor.

Very nice pc. 4-sp. May I ask what your diff ratio is?

I have considered one of these but in a real strange turn of the tide, I am considering a 5 speed manual swap!
Good luck though.

Its 3.73, I am thinking 3.55 would be better as the A41 gears are even lower than the low gearset 727 I have. I will drive it and see if it needs changing. For some reason the online calculators for speed and rpm arent 100% correct for me. Input tire diameter, trans, and rear gearing info and its off. So real world will tell me. If I decide I need a 3.55 I may just by a S60.

Well got the old 727 out today. Required unbolting passanger header. Next weekend I will dimple tunnel and fold the seam in transmission tunnel. Then hopefully bolt the A41 in. I test rolled trans jack and A41 under car, after many attempts I finnaly have the car high enough.

It is a GM based transmission. A Mopar specific bell housing is included in the kit.
