Well I found a 66 dart that's waiting for me in Oklahoma when I move that will be a race car so this one will be a street/strip car
Building a 500" motor for it shortly and have everything else already. I haven't even picked it up yet, so I'm still figuring colors, etc out now.
It was originally a slant six savoy. So far, I've just got the drive line figured out. 500" engine/727/Dana 60.

@Hosehead , didn't you sell your 65 to buy a 64. What became of that? I was looking forward to seeing that 64 at irwindale!?

Yep, sadly it will take a minor miracle for me to be racing st irwindale before I leave for Oklahoma.
I wasn't planning on doing any more car shuffling but I did end up selling my 65 bel 2 to pay for some of the Oklahoma house and help realize my dream of getting a post car. That's when i bought the 64 plymouth. A few months passed and I got a little 66 dart that will be my new race car project, so I was looking at undoing all the race car stuff on the 64. Seemed like having a nice solid body was a better start for me so a buddy offered to swap me for this 63. New floors and trunk floor. Zero other rust. To say I'm pumped is putting it mildly.....

Nice car, runs great. The yellow amx behind your friends car had a real bad day. Lost a motor and hit both walls,sliding in his own juice. Ended the racing for the night.
