That's all for today have to go pick up a full face mask respirator. To much junk flying around

So before I put the 1/4 back on I plan on spraying rust bullet on all the areas that get covered. Any advice would be appreciated

I like your K-Frame stand. Did you have plans or did you draw it up yourself? I plan on making the same thing so any plans would be great. Looks like you have the job well in hand:)

Ok it seems like 1/4 is attached to roof. should I grind through here at top or should I be looking from the underneath?

Just a teaser. Still have work to do before it can be welded on. Buy needed the encouragement lol

I'm assuming that you kept the original outer wheel well housing.
If so, how was the fitment of the new quarter to the wheel housing?

As i stated the 1/4 is just hanging there but I took some pictures of the original wheel well to new 1/4 pics. They look pretty good

This is the passenger side 1/4. there is no rust just some damage. I have a complete 1/4 but I am starting to think Its not worth the work to change the complete 1/4. Any thoughts?

That little bit of damage is nothing!

You'll never beat a factory 1/4 in that good of shape.

Tuff to say as the repair areas are all on the lower half of the quarter.
One of them is right on a crease, not easy to fix.
Since you already have the new quarter I say change it.
It will give you a chance to see what its like under it, just like you did on the drivers side.
Here's what mine look like....car is at the body shop.
