Hi all. I went to replace my wipers on a 62 Dart and found NO one around here sells anything that will fit mine. The new blades come with the black housing attached. The housing won’t attach to my arms. Plus my wipers are chrome and I would like to keep them. So just take the blade out of the black housing and put it into my chrome housing I thought. Well that doesn’t work as these new blades are very skinny compared to my thicker/wider blades. When I did a look up on the blade for a 62 dart it gave me a number that doesn’t seem to be right. Something like 37-260 ( that may be a little off). Would anyone have any suggestions for blade refills?

Gee Thanks Fran!

I used 16" refills, probably bought them from NAPA.

Yes they are plastic and narrower. You want to gently pinch the tabs a little closer but not tight. The blade needs to slide in them. Adjust the tabs at each end also. I still have the red button Anco blades.

NAPA sells correct width blades

ebay too, but many are WAY overpriced

The early "B" bodies didn't use the pin on the wiper arm like the newer ones. The Anco vintage ones don't work unless you want to pay the price and remove the refill. Another piece us early model owners have to work around :D
