Yeah the other D500 is much more desirable...

I used to have one of those , as well as the white /gold 56 D 500 They both had the d500 flags.

the Commercial (3 ton -5 ton IIRC) 64 D-500
were a different looking truck than most
I knew a guy down in the valley Near Modesto
in Waterford, outskirts by Oakdale
that had a 64 Dodge Grain-hauler had that exact same front end
the front fenders fold out

this isn't his truck just one that looked just like it

That's not a D500. Its a C series.
I drove a mid 60s D500 at MODoT back in the 70s. What hadn't rusted away.

as normal I could be wrong
& I'm not afraid to actually admit being wrong
